My second daughter got me out of my dark ages with one giant leap. We attended Brickworld Michigan in 2017 & 2018. At the show she said "Dad, I want to build my little waterfeature next to my first night house really big and display it at Brickworld next year." I was like OKAY! We connected with MICHLUG, presented our table of Minecraft diorama at a local show, and then had a table of Minecraft and Elves on display at Brickworld 2019. We added a table and a half of Harry Potter as our Covid Project.

I have since embraced my AFOL status by building a MOC of a Golden Snitch Trophy and a Minecraft Passenger Train that runs on the Lego train track. I have also designed and built an LGMS train module of my home town main street and depot. The next project is to add to it with an engine or two and a consist of train cars that represent my local rail-fanning experience.
