I’ve always been into LEGO, but between 2005-2013 I wasn’t really into it anymore. However when LEGO Digital Designer came out in 2007, I had a new love for the brand. While others spent countless hours in Minecraft, I created to my heart’s content. I could make anything and everything with an endless amount of parts. Sure it was fun and all, but the void of grasping something tangible always kept me wanting more. It wasn’t until mid 2013 that I picked up a few city sets at Toys R Us and the bank account has never been the same, I dove back into the concept full force.. and now our basement is the LEGO cave. However, I’m not your average builder either. You could consider some of my stuff brutal, maximalist, and chaotic. I am an outside-the-box type builder and I hone in on my unconventional style. I seldomly let “what’s practical” hold me back.
I enjoy flaunting this eccentric style off and show that you don’t always need to color in the lines. You can do anything with LEGO and I surpass the boundaries with painfully astounding creations. I also stream what I call “MOC Misery” on Twitch. Basically it’s creating something from nothing and using what parts I have at my disposal.. The misery is when I know what part I want and need to seek it out, albeit in the collection of parts or on another build as well.
Recently I have been focusing on my realms for displays. Atlas, my steampunk city. COR, which is my 6 ft tower resembling a futuristic cyberpunk city. The nightmare realm which are twisted “DreamZzz” sets with my own demented touch. The lime punk battle scene which is a scene I’m trying to capture a static image of a battle that's ensuing. Lastly, the apocalyptic scraps and the builds that defy physics and comprehension.
